Indonesia's most promising filmmaker, Edwin, is currently working on his his feature debut, "A Blind Pig Who Wants to Fly". I was so pleased to be able to observe the shooting last Sunday. This is truly guerrilla filmmaking at its best. Edwin shoots whenever he raises some money then stops until he raises some more. The say the story provocative is an understatement. The script is mind-blowing. Let's hope Edwin can finish this movie soon. It could be an antidote to the crass commercialism that's acutely plaguing Indonesian film scene.

edwin is always one my favourite shortfilm directors. i hope dennys adhiswara, tintin wulia, etc will produce their first feature films. :)

owww....saya udah bikin script 99+ halaman pake final draft, dah ngirim ke PH di jakarta, but no answer, ada tips dr mas joko utk yg ini?..kalau mau bisa saya kirim sinopsisnya dulu...lagi bingung neh gimana caranya nembus industri film indonesia for a nobody like me
